Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and displays its response. We do not keep or record those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be retained so that we can answer it. We keep the message within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers may automatically receive technical information about the visit, including:
- Your device's assigned IP address
- Page-view dates and times
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and device category
- Visited pages and time spent on them
- A referring website, when available
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They help show how visitors move through the website, including popular pages and common exit points. Analytics providers combine that traffic information for measurement. Browser controls can block cookies, although disabling them may change how some features work.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating and improving page performance
- Routing searches to the selected outside provider
- Measuring useful content and areas needing revision
- Diagnosing technical errors
- Selecting interest-based advertising
No Court-Record Data on File
We do not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case information. Grant County Circuit records are maintained by the Grant County & Circuit Clerk, while traffic, misdemeanor, ordinance, and limited civil records are maintained by the separate Grant County District Court Clerk. Search ARCourts offers informational public Circuit access subject to Arkansas Administrative Order 19. Visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person, and this website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted to a tool is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its retention and disclosure practices. Review those terms before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Grant County clerks, Arkansas courts, Search ARCourts, legal-aid resources, or outside tools. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy terms control. Review them before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may use their own systems to recognize activity across websites and select interest-based advertising. We do not operate that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. It may be disclosed to the following limited recipients:
- Outside search providers processing submitted queries
- Traffic and performance analytics vendors
- Advertising networks serving page content
- A public body acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards protect the data we collect. No internet-connected service can guarantee perfect security, so we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If a minor's information has been submitted, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Data Rights
Rights concerning personal data may vary with the law that applies where a visitor lives. Arkansas Administrative Order 19 governs access to Arkansas court records, including electronic access through Search ARCourts, but it does not create general visitor-data rights against this private website. Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Request access to retained personal information
- Ask that inaccurate data be corrected
- Seek deletion where applicable law permits it
- Decline processing when a legal right applies
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. A changed version will be posted here with its new effective date, and visitors should review it for updates to our practices.
